Updating

Agent Relay Desktop updates itself. It checks the stable channel automatically and installs new versions in place, so you never reinstall from a .dmg after the first time.

How it works

• The app checks for updates on the stable channel in the background.
• Updates are signed and notarized by Apple and verified before they're applied, the same integrity chain as the original download.
• An update never interrupts active work without your confirmation. If a new version is ready while agents are running, the app waits until you choose to restart.

Checking manually

Open Settings → Software Update to see:

• Installed version: what you're running now.
• Release channel: Stable.
• Last checked: when the app last looked, with a Check now action to look again immediately.

When an update is downloaded and verified, a Restart to update button appears. Restarting relaunches into the new version and preserves your chats and settings.

If an update doesn't appear

Some checks legitimately report no update. You may already be on the latest stable version. If a check fails (for example on a restricted network), Retry from Settings → Software Update once connectivity is restored. See Troubleshooting for more.
